Working with curator and mentor, Paul Morris, Verene will exhibit a selection of his most recent work from the twenty-eight-year documentary series about his family and their community in rural Illinois, focusing on new works made after the acclaimed 2010 monograph from Twin Palms, "Family."
This exhibition features Chris Verene's influential late 1990s photographic series, "Camera Club," shown in its entirety for the first time since the show sixteen years ago at Paul Morris Gallery in 1998.
